SUGAR LAND, Texas -- Thursday morning, Sugar Land police arrested now former Garcia Middle School Assistant Principal Jon Jeffrey Jones and charged him with disorderly conduct for looking at two young girls (7- and 11-year-old) through a bent mini-blind in the closed blinds covering the window in their room.

A spokesperson for the Fort Bend Independent School District said Jones resigned Friday. He had been with the district for 17 years, including three as assistant principal.
